Bill Husztek This is a sad commentary upon our Nation. Go read the First Amendment to the Constitution of the U.S.A. as a Vietnam veteran I fear it will not survive your generation's willingness to give up your hard-earned libertys to group hysteria to the politicians regardless their brand. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble,"

Bill Husztek I'd say the government owes those folks a refund plus an award for pain and suffering. Unless someone wants to try to tell me that the individual citizen doesn't have the right to determine matters regarding their health.

Bill Husztek Let me help you - 'NO WOMAN WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO AN ABORTION." on demand without her husband and father and brother and son agreeing to it.

Bill Husztek No one wants to get sick. I'm allergic to tobacco smoke. Most of my adult life people had the right to smoke inside anywhere except other people's homes. I ended up buying a tobacco farm. After that I figured I was getting my revenge, and told smokers, Light up, you are paying my mortgage!

Bill Husztek But, if someone wants to make themselves sick smoking, who are we to stop them? The same goes for partying during cold season, flu season, or Colvid-19 season. I can't recall anyone ever apologizing to me when I got sick from second hand smoke. I survived, some didn't. That's what freedom demands, that's what freedom costs.
Bill Husztek Let me ask one last question. Who decided that gatherings of more than 10 people were dangerous promoters of the disease, but 10 or less were healthy? A doctor? A governor? A mathematician? HMM.

FAKE NEWS LOOKS LIKE THIS!
Here is what Fake News Is.
This Morning, Easter Sunday I read Megan Mcardle's Opinion Piece. Its headline is:
“My dad has covid-19. All we can do is wait.”
After that headline grabber, I found McArdle’s opening sentence. “My father has covid-19, and I can’t even take him banana bread.”
So, I read her 20+ paragraphs, describing her baking banana bread, her father’s recent heart problems and his impending release from hospital. In it, I discovered that she and her sister drove from Washington to Boston carrying food supplies to her father’s home. At the last moment her father developed a sore throat. But no fever or other symptoms.
Asymptomatic is the ten dollar word for his condition. But he has a sore throat so since he has a heart condition they decided to keep him in hospital. But when Mcardle arrives the authorities won’t let her visit him, nor deliver, nor let her leave her loaf of banana bread. No because he’s sick with Covid-19, but because she might be a carrier.
So Megan writes up her experience and we get a headline “MY DAD HAS COVID-19.”
I hope and pray that Megan's medical expertise is as poor as her sense of journalistic propriety. and her Dad doesn't get covid-19 and gets to come home soon without his sore throat to eat her ?banana bread?
And that my friend is what passes for news in today’s - Easter Sunday's Washington Post.
It too is my definition of FAKE NEWS!

The Racist Covid-19 Virus
IN Virginia Today its still bad, too!
After 400 years of slavery - A bloody Civil War - KKK -
A century of Jim Crow laws - and having to rip down
the Racist monuments we get this!
Today in his news conference Governor Northam revealed the nasty little secret which is too horrid to face. Covid Virus is an ethnic cleanser!
When he presented the statistics yesterday and today they showed that African Americans were the virus' target of choice, almost 3 to 1.
When I first heard of it, I thought, Wow a Virus which is committing racial genocide against blacks.
But I took a moment to look it up. That's where I learned,
"To qualify as genocide, the actions must be down with intent to eliminate an entire group of people. Without proveable intent a group or individual can still be guilty of `crimes against humanity' or `ethnic cleansing' but not genocide."
Being ignorant at this time of any mental ability of this or any other virus, I have to accept it has no intent, it just does what it does with a bias against blacks and brown skinned people by a factor of two or three to one.
Well so much for silly, or as my critics will say, my latent racism. If asked I prefer to label it "Common Sense Realism in a technicolor World."
When I meet two men walking side by side in the street I tend to notice that they may be the following. Two white guys. Two black guys. Or A white guy and a black guy, or A black guy and a white guy. In every case I notice their skin color! And that my enemy is the total depth of my racism. I do notice things in black and white and brown.
Beyond that, I have no bias to exercise for or against either guy. it is only as I interact with one, the other, or both that I develop any more thoughts about them as people.
But not so with this virus which is now killing blacks and browns at a meaner rate than whites. It is a discriminating killer.
What I worry about now is the Silly Session we are about to have over our Social Responsibility to even out the numbers.
And trust me it will come. Some pandering politician will soon come up with a tax plan which attempts to spread the death to all races equally.
Now let's sit and watch and see who and how soon they arrive, shall we?

An Office in Hand
I just got call from a salesman from “Hiboo” who wants to build me a web page. And it will only cost me $119.00/month.
I wasn’t interested. But what was interesting was his persistence. He tested me on my type of business, Real Estate. He tried me on getting quality advertising on the web for my business.
I told him I was getting all those things free from my next door neighbor. But he asked me what I would do when it didn’t pan out. I told him I’d just go next door and pound the neighbor into the ground.
He laughed and said that wasn’t the best way. That for the $119.00 he’d get the job done.
Finally after several rebuffs, he allowed me to get off the phone, saying he’d be happy to hear back from me.
First, I had been called because on the net, I had filled out too much info as I tried to investigate whether “Hiboo” of what ever was the software I was looking for. Once it was there, there was no pulling it back, nor telling them “Please don’t call me, Thank you very much. So his call was inevitable.
That said, his final warning that I really needed him to get the world to see my offerings fell flat on its face. Because here he was on my speaker phone, in my office, firmly ensconced telling me how isolated I am.
A pause here, to think about my isolation.
Sitting here, Miki has gone to her sister’s to help her with “a computer problem” between the quotes insert her sister a very intelligent woman insists on being a luddite when it comes to electronics. TV, radio, computer, cell phone, what ever you are thinking of.
So, I am alone, only the housekeeper and three dogs and a cat for warm blooded company. Of course there is the TV. The satellite fed internet signal into my TV, which Samsung insists is a “Smart TV. An incredible overstatement of its powers. Smarts it has none. And I have my “Smart Phones” two cell numbers. And my satellite fed computers, yep more than one. And include here our several iPads.
But it is the iPhones which only 10 y ears ago were a brand new phenomena since they took our very nice little clam-shell cell phones and put computers and touch screens on them. They have become my office.
As I sit here writing this I have finally decided to make the next leap, I plan to move my office into a Apple smart watch, for the convenience of not have to worry about where I have left it.
My 21st century office, is Open for Business. Just Google Bill Husztek and see what you need from me.
